Skins Series 4 Playlist on Spotify
The 4th series of Skins ended last night with something of a bang. Unfairly categorised as a show for teenagers about sex and drugs, Skins is actually a smart, well-written and acted character-led drama, and probably one of the best homegrown shows on UK TV.
Key to the success of Skins is the music. The soundtrack to series 4 was an eclectic mix, veering from dance to indie to classic pop, with a bit of George Formby and the theme from Star Trek thrown in for good measure. There are a lot of new and little-known acts featured – check out the likes of Port O’Brien, 6 Day Riot and The Ettes.
